Legendary Living, Integral Senior Living to build new Montgomery senior living campus

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Legendary Living and Integral Senior Living today unveiled a new strategic partnership to develop multiple best-in-class senior living projects, with the first being Legendary Living Montgomery, a resort-style, for-rent senior living campus located on Vaughn Road in East Montgomery.

Legendary Living Montgomery will be the second senior housing project for the Destin, Fla.-based developer. “Our mission is to provide for those who provided for us,” said Steve Griggs, EVP of Real Estate Development for Legendary. “We couldn’t have asked for better partners that are like-minded and have the desire, as we do, to create senior living environments that truly serve seniors and their families.”

Located off Vaughn Road in eastern Montgomery, the for-rent campus will offer 50 age-restricted cottages, 64 units for independent living and 73 units for assisted living, 24 of which will be dedicated to those with memory impairment. The community will be second to none in the Montgomery area in terms of luxury, security, safety and resort-caliber amenities, including cabanas and outdoor pool, multiple dining and bistro areas, art studio, library, internet cafe, auditorium and theater, game room, and chapel. Other outdoor amenities will feature an event lawn, fire pit, resident gardening area, water features, walking trails, putting green, bocce ball court, pickle ball court, yoga lawn, dog park and generously landscaped courtyards.

Construction on Legendary Living Montgomery will begin this year. The community is anticipated to open its doors to Montgomery residents in late 2022.
