Integral Senior Living, a privately owned company founded in 2000, grew rapidly to become a leader in the senior living industry. We specialize in management of senior independent living, assisted living and memory care properties. We consistently demonstrate a successful balance for delivering quality senior living environments, fulfilling workplaces and targeted financial returns.

At ISL, the company culture is lived every day. Dedicated to honoring commitments to seniors, employees and owners, ISL attracted senior managers with proven track records. An experienced and talented team, groomed and mentored in the largest senior living companies throughout the United States, has been assembled in the disciplines necessary to support client communities, including operations, resident care, marketing, human resources and accounting/finance. With the ISL team in place, best practices and systems were established to generate targeted results at each managed property. In 2012, ISL celebrated our 10-year anniversary, that same year we were ranked the 17th largest senior housing provider in the nation and 3rd largest in California. ISL’s home office is located in Carlsbad, California.

ISL’s senior management team is driven by a group of dedicated, experienced leaders, who draw upon their years of industry experience to create the highest standards in community management. Each has worked for some of the biggest names in the senior industry and now chooses to combine that experience with their own expertise to create a unique management culture that is ISL. Their set of skills and experience are distinctive and, when combined, create a team that not only is meeting the current needs of clients but exceeding them with passion, innovation and results. In the future, ISL looks forward to continuing on its path of providing exceptional and effective management to the senior communities it serves.

ISL Sales & Marketing Team

Jeffery Smith, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Heather Haley, Tina Schachter and Shelley Speer support all of our individual communities and their sales and marketing efforts. With many years of experience amongst the team, they ensure each community, new development projects, and Integral Senior Living as a company meet sales and marketing goals by utilizing industry proven practices.

Human Resources Directors

Cathy Battles, Sherri Carter, Suzanne Foley, Angela Mogensen, Erin Rohrbacher, and Tammy Stewart partner with the employees and management teams of the communities to create an empowering working environment that supports ISL’s culture and its tenets. Through a strong partnership with the communities, the experienced HR Team handles a wide range of responsibilities including employee relations, training & development, group health benefits, and legal compliance. The end result is the provision of quality resident care by engaged and happy employees.

A balanced approach promotes service to each audience without sacrificing the interests of another. Passionate about the ISL culture and keeping it alive throughout the company, we created “Culture Keepers”. ISL Inspires

At ISL we are always looking at new ways to innovate. Staying true to our mission, in 2015 we launched a new program called ISL Inspires. The premise behind it is to give back to our local communities in some way. Our first event in 2015, at our annual corporate office summer picnic, we put together goodie bags for sick children and distributed them to Children’s Hospital in San Diego.

Over the last year we have given back in our local community as well as the areas we visit for our annual meetings. This is a great way for us to bond together as a company doing something charitable to benefit others and give back. We are challenging all of our communities to do something similar in their own community, encouraging them to work together to find a common cause and activity to inspire them!
